But it wasn’t until 1952 that Bulova Company starts developing the Accutron watch, the first electronic watch that guaranteed to keep time within 2 seconds with no winding. Bulova has been manufacturing fine Accutron watches ever since. Accutron watches have earned such a high reputation that they are trusted by NASA and it’s astronauts on 46 space missions. That’s right, NASA asked that an Accutron watch be incorporated into it’s computers. No other watch company can make the claim that NASA keeps time by them.
