Last week, the season finale of 'The Bachelor' showed Jake proposing to Vienna with a stunning two carat princess cut diamond ring surrounded by 70 smaller diamond stones. Last season's Bachelorette, Jillian, was given a two carat pear shaped diamond masterpiece. Jason Mesnick gave both women diamond rings set in platinum, each at approximately two carats. Anyone else notice an ongoing theme? Since its first debut in 2002, dedicated viewers have witnessed 11 proposals in 19 seasons, many of which consisted of 2 carat beauties.
